Pink Programming Sunday Gothenburg

Pink Programming Sunday is our most common event, organized once a month in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Oslo. During the day women of all ages are invited to bring their own computer and code together for a day. Sometimes we invite speakers from the industry for an inspirational talk or an educational workshop.

We are looking for passionate volunteers that can help out organizing these coding meetups in Gothenburg.

As a Project Manager, you plan and participate at our Pink programing Sundays in Gothenburg together with the amazing project group and our equally amazing sponsors. You make sure every volunteer has tasks, recruits new members to the team when necessary and have a fika with the project group on a regular basis. If you have experiences in project management, working in non-profit organizations and coding its an advantage (but no requirement). If you like IT, equality and diversity this is the perfect role for you.

As a Coding Mentor, you are part of the project group and help plan workshops which you hold at the actual event, and generally help out explaining programming concept to the participants at the event.

As a Volunteer you are part of the project group helping out with non coding related tasks such as creating the event in our event system, ordering food, welcoming participants etc. And of course, help spreading good vibes :).

Sponsorgruppen

Pink Programming samarbetar med en rad olika spännande företag och organisationer i Sverige och Norge. Oftast så samarbetar vi kring ett event och arrangerar det ihop. Vi har även längre samarbeten, som sträcker sig över ett eller flera år.

Nu söker vi dig som kan hjälpa oss att upprätthålla våra relationer med våra partners, samt sprida information om vår verksamhet och våra sponsorpaket till potentiella nya partners.

Som volontär i sponsorgruppen så innebär dina uppgifter främst att

• Delta på möten och presentera vår verksamhet och våra sponsorpaket till potentiella partners
• Kommunicera internt med andra i sponsorgruppen i vårt chattforum samt vid regelbundna möten på Skype.
• Hjälpa oss att utveckla våra sponsorpaket och vårt nätverk av partners

Du behöver ingen tidigare erfarenhet av sponsring, möten, nätverkande eller liknande för att vara volontär hos oss. Det viktigaste är att du är engagerad och brinner för att få fler kvinnor att programmera.

PS. You don’t have to be a fluent Swedish speaker to be able to help out with sponsors. But a lot of the companies that contact us write in Swedish or Norwegian, so as long as you’re comfortable with some google translating, we would be happy to have you onboard :)
